Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) Free Zone
The Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) was formed in 2004 and is fully owned by the Government of Dubai. It provides both a vibrant and functioning integrated community. Silicon Oasis is a free zone authority that provides incentives and benefits to companies operating in the technology park. The Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority promotes modern technology-based industries within a community planned by city leaders, state-of-the-art infrastructure and in-house services.
DSO has a total capacity of 97,740 m² of commercial space for rental offices. DSO has created a high-tech ecosystem to facilitate technological cooperation and innovation. DSO identifies six key elements for its high-tech ecosystem: large companies, start-ups and SMEs, universities and an incubation centre, venture capital funds, a high-tech infrastructure and government and business services.
The DSO community has a range of residential and lifestyle facilities including schools, universities, hospitals, community centres, shopping complexes, swimming pools and tennis courts. The DSO Community has been landscaped with green parks, interconnecting courtyards and children’s playgrounds. In addition, there is 24-hour security, daily maintenance and a fully developed road network.
